@AutonomicBrad77 Wow. This is unbelievable. I'm so sorry you were dismissed by this POS. You should complain to whoever will listen. People like him shouldn't be treating patients.
@VinoNStrosGal Thank you. I love to cook for them, make them homemade treats, and spoil them daily. They appreciate it more than the humans in the house. 😂
He's crying out in pain. Who TF are you to dispute or doubt what a patient is reporting? You say "I'm in Healthcare" as if that makes your opinion count more. It doesn't. You're just publicly showing us all who you are. You shouldn't be allowed to work with patients when you lack compassion.
It is hard to watch this. Do you know what happened to him or if he is ok? I think it is a multi factor problem. We have nurses and doctors being trained that everyone is a drug seeker and that all pain can be treated with Tylenol. We also have a problem with patients who go to the emergency room for non emergencies looking for meds and tests that should be done outpatient. I think doctors and nurses become desensitized because they see so much bs. Idk what the answer is but we should believe patients who present with pain. Even if they are drug seeking they are only going to get one dose in the ER.
This is what our emergency rooms are like in 2026. How can staff ignore a person crying out for help like this? As a nurse, this feels embarrassing and disgusting. Does anyone know what happened to this guy?
Can you imagine time traveling back to the 1990s, when doctors were taught that pain was the 5th vital sign?
There was a time when clinicians couldn’t tolerate watching a patient sit in agony.
If someone came into the ER doubled over, crying, begging for help, relieving pain wasn’t optional.
It was the job.
Somewhere along the way, the culture shifted.
Now a person can be on the floor in visible agony, and nothing about it guarantees help is on the way.
A grown man on the floor of a hospital waiting room, on his knees, folded over himself, crying out in pain, begging for help, while everyone around moves like he isn’t even there.
And now, you don’t have to imagine it anymore.
You’re looking at it.
This is what ERs across the United States look like today.
One day, this could be you.
Or someone you love.
@GaltMD@awgaffney Did you really just type out that patients want to have these diseases? Wow! You are exactly why people can't get help and have lost trust in doctors. You should find another profession.
I have been there, a few times. I told the technician I wouldn't fit in the machine and that I was worried I would get stuck. I couldn't do it. I've even gotten out of my car in a drive through car wash over anxiety and feeling claustrophobic. Don't beat yourself up. Ask for an Ativan and reschedule.
@VinoNStrosGal Sometimes the joy you get from a cheeseburger is worth the suffering. I don't spend a lot of time on X these days but I do like reading your updates. I can relate to most things you post about.

@RikLesel @SlowlyDyingmrna When is this supposed to be available and how much is a treatment? Chinese medicine doctors use vibrations, tapping and sound to heal patients.
I understand that. I have gone through periods of time where I don't want to make plans. It feels easier just not to make them sometimes but we all need to socialize and have some enjoyment. I try to only spend my time with the people I feel understand or that won't judge my situation.
