On Fathers day, June 21st, my two grandchildren, aged 13 and 8, went to lay flowers on their Dads grave.
Their Dad was called Edward.
He was my Son.
He sadly took his own life 14 months ago and his ashes are interred in a Parish Council Cemetery in Devon.
Over the past year the children have visited the grave many times, to lay flowers or to leave little hand painted mementos.
But this time it was different. The concrete slab that had been placed over the grave just after I'd lowered his ashes into the ground was now missing.
The grave was now uncovered. Just a patch of bare earth was visible.
The slab is intended to stay in place for eternity. Families then have the choice of whether or not to commission a memorial tablet to be secured on top of it.
We had recently started finalising the details of the memorial tablet we were going to install on Edwards grave.
I received a call from the person accompanying the children to the grave telling me what they'd discovered. I could hear my 8 year old granddaughter crying in the background.
I immediately jumped in my car and drove the 30 miles to the cemetery.
Within a couple of minutes I'd worked out what had happened.
My Sons slab had been removed from his grave and used on a grave just 6 feet away and a memorial tablet had been cemented on top of it.
Our grave had been raided for spare parts by the mason who, upon arrival at the cemetery to install a memorial to a grave, had noted the grave had no slab upon which to attach the memorial so took the one covering Edwards grave.
He then just walked away, got in his van, drove off and didn't tell anyone.
This happened on June 18th, just 3 days before Fathers Day.
The company he works for is Fine Memorials. They're based in Bridgwater in Somerset and they also have branches in Exeter, Barnstaple, Taunton and Minehead.
Their branches in Tiverton and Yeovil operate under different names.
The Director of the company has offered to make and fit a memorial for free but I've repeatedly told him I don't want my Sons grave tainted by any further involvement by Fine Memorials.
He's said he'd consider funding a tablet made by another memorials company (quote) "if the price is right". The price is obviously the key factor as far as he's concerned but he needn't worry about this because we'll fund our own memorial.
I have however suggested (by email), that he pay compensation to my two grandchildren who discoverd their Dads grave in that state on Fathers Day. I've also suggested it would be appropriate to make a donation to a mental health charity of our choice.
He should also consider reimbursing the family who paid his company to have a memorial fitted to their grave only to discover it was cemented to a slab pilfered from another grave.
He has so far refused to discuss these suggestions. His only offer is the free memorial and I've told him he can stick that.
The Fine Memorials website and their entries on websites of the various trade bodies they belong to, mentions words like dignity, compassion and respect.
None of these qualities are evident in the way they treated my Sons grave or in the manner they've treated their own customer whose own memorial was cemented to an essential component taken from someone elses grave.
I wouldn't recommend any dealings with Fine Memorials.
Now today's out the way I'm sure we will be hearing a lot more about how:
- Labour's first two Budgets increased taxes on British workers by £36 billion and £26 billion respectively, pushing the tax burden to an historic high of 38.3% of GDP
- The OBR forecasts 240,000 more people will be unemployed in 2026 than it previously projected - it said this is largely attributable to Labour's employment policies
- The UK unemployment rate was 4.9% as of early 2026, up from 4.6% a year earlier, an increase of 124,000
- Total UK welfare spending this year is estimated at £333.7 billion - up from £315 billion
- The UK is spending £301 million per day just to service its debt interest on Labour borrowing
- Labour promised 1.5 million new homes this parliament. Between 9 July 2024 and 15 March 2026, it had build just 342,100, way off target
- More than 1 million young people aged 16-24 were not in education, employment or training in the first quarter of this year - up 89,000
- The NHS waiting list stands at 7.22 million cases
- When Labour took office in July 2024, just 58.8% of patients were treated within 18 weeks. The target is 92%. By March 2026 it had only reached 65.3%
- Around 100,000 patients are waiting over a year for NHS treatment
- Over the past year, approximately 1.56 million people waited more than 4 hours in A&E - a huge breach of the target
- The outstanding caseload in the Crown Court stands at around 80,200 - the highest level recorded since 2016 and more than double the pre-Covid caseload
- A quarter of all Crown Court cases have been open for more than a year
- There are currently 14,749 sexual offences cases waiting to go to the Crown Court - a 75% increase
- There were approximately 530,640 shoplifting offences recorded in England and Wales over the past year - the highest in the entire time series on record
- There were 41,000 small boat arrivals in 2025
- Of all people who have arrived by small boat since 2018, only around 7,500 (4%) had been returned from the UK by the end of 2025
- Last year the Home Office spent £4 billion on asylum support. This includes £2.1 billion on hotel accommodation alone - around £6 million per day
🚨 I've listened to Andy Burnham's 10 year speech, where he looks Britain's new saviour in Zelenski uniform, bragging about what a success Greater Manchester is with my mouth open.
You would be forgiven for thinking Greater Manchester was close to perfect, an example to everyone of how his fantastic policies have worked.
Does he seriously think most of Greater Manchester is a success? or that he contributed to a shiny business sector, 2 world class football teams and the largest Uni in the country? because outside that...
▪️Nearly 1 in 4 GM neighbourhoods are in the most deprived 10% nationally.
▪️Half of GM’s local authority areas are among England’s 30 most deprived.
▪️Manchester city is ranked 4th most deprived English local authorities.
▪️In 2024, 16.2% of jobs in Greater Manchester workplaces paid below the real Living Wage = 193,000 low-paid jobs.
▪️Temporary accommodation is around 5,915 households, with 8,600 children in temporary accommodation.
▪️Around 12,700 long-term empty homes were identified across the city-region.
▪️4 of the 10 highest recorded crime local authorities in England are in Greater Manchester
▪️Educational achievements are below national average
▪️Manchester city area above national unemployment levels
▪️1 in 8 working age people get PIP, above the national average
▪️The GM area has a lower household disposable income than the national average
▪️34% increase in rough sleeping
▪️Violent crime and sexual offences are above the national average.
▪️grooming gangs? or is we still ignoring these?
▪️Drug-related death rates in Greater Manchester are significantly above the national average
Oh and now lets talk about debt. Bravo Andy... to achieve some of the highest deprivation in the country under his leadership, GMCA now has about £1.4 BILLION of gross debt and an underlying borrowing need of roughly £2.5 BILLION.
So his speech on "Hopes and dreams" is actually more like 'No hope and nightmares', his leafy suburbs and shiny city buildings can't really hide the truth.
You're welcome.
THE DOSSIER #19: Emily Thornberry – The Sneer of Islington
Born Guildford 1960. Your father abandoned you at seven. Council estate poverty. Then the University of Kent. Gray's Inn. The barrister's escape route. You learned the law. You never learned humility.
Fabian Society member. Keynote speaker at their conferences in 2019, 2024, 2025. The same society that has shaped Labour's gradualist betrayal of the working class for over a century. Labour Campaign for Human Rights patron. Chatham House speaker. Vice Chair of the APPG on Sexual and Reproductive Health. National Security Strategy Committee. Liaison Committee. All the right credentials. All the wrong people.
Barrister at Tooks Chambers. Human rights law. Michael Mansfield's protege. You took the pay cut to become MP for Islington South and Finsbury in 2005. You have represented that constituency for twenty years. It remains one of London's most deprived. Your property portfolio is worth £4.6 million.
You campaigned for social housing. You introduced the Housing Association Bill to "empower tenants." Then you purchased a housing association property at auction. £572,000. A Georgian townhouse in Clerkenwell. You rented it to private tenants. Reportedly to your own parliamentary researcher. You sold it for profit. "Labour's queen of hypocrisy." You earned the title.
The White Van Man. November 2014. Rochester and Strood by-election. You photographed a house. Three England flags in the windows. A white Ford Transit on the drive. You tweeted it. No words needed. Your sneer was the caption. Dan Ware. A cage fighter. He had "not got a clue" who you were. He called you a "snob." Ed Miliband was "furious." You resigned as Shadow Attorney General within hours. You claimed you had "never seen anything like it." Working-class patriotism. Unfamiliar territory.
You altered an Electoral Commission press release in 2006. Inserted your own quote. Made it appear official. The Standards Commissioner found your actions "unwise and unfortunate." You faced no sanction. You never do.
Caroline Flint called you out in 2019. Alleged you called Brexit voters "stupid." You threatened defamation proceedings. Gave her hours to retract. Instructed solicitors. Talked tough to Sky News: "They can't make up shit about me." Then you abandoned the case. Empty threats. Your trademark.
You married Sir Christopher Nugee. Lord Justice of Appeal. Boris Johnson called you "Lady Nugee" in Parliament. The Speaker intervened. Called it "sexist." You reject the title publicly. You prefer the pretence of ordinariness. While living on Richmond Crescent. Same street as Tony Blair. Same day you both moved in. Your four-storey Victorian townhouse. £2.9 million. Plus the Guildford flat. Rental income over £10,000 a year. Working-class credentials. Pure theatre.
You wanted to be Labour leader in 2020. You considered it. You did not stand. You knew. You served Corbyn. You serve Starmer. You expected to be Attorney General. The real one. Not shadow. Starmer appointed Richard Hermer instead. You were "shocked and disappointed." The snub was public. The message was clear. Even your own party doubts you.
Now you chair the Foreign Affairs Select Committee. Leading the "Scandelson" inquiry into Mandelson. Aggressive oversight. The irony is geological. You who altered official documents. You who abandoned legal threats when challenged. You now sit in judgment.
They made you Dame Commander in 2025. DBE. For political service. The honour sits on your shoulders like a shroud. The working-class girl from the council estate who sneered at the England flag. Who profited from housing association property while preaching socialism. Who threatens lawsuits then runs. Who lives in £2.9 million splendour while her constituents queue for food banks.
You are not a champion of the people. You are a cautionary tale. The champagne socialist who forgot which glass was hers. Your White Van Man tweet defines you. Your housing hypocrisy buries you. Your Damehood is mockery.
You have no credibility. No authenticity. No political future worth speaking of. You gambled that class betrayal could be dressed in progressive language. You lost.
Your reputation is ash. Your conscience is a void. Your Damehood is groresque. Your career is a study in elite condescension.
Your betrayal of Britain is now complete. Permanent exile from public trust awaits. Congratulations. You are The Dossier.
🚨 BREAKING: THE MASK HAS COMPLETELY SLIPPED ON THE NEW PRIME MINISTER.
Andy Burnham has just delivered his very first major policy speech as the presumptive Prime Minister, and his true authoritarian colours are already on full display. 🤡
He literally stood at the podium and declared: "The political direction I will set is not up for negotiation."
You honestly have to laugh at the absolute brass neck of this man!
He is not even inside Downing Street yet, and he is already dictating his terms like a tin-pot dictator.
He spent the last 9 years pretending to be a soft-spoken champion of local democracy and "collaborative politics" just to get his foot in the door.
But the second he gets within touching distance of absolute power, he admits the truth.
He is going to force his hard-left, pension-destroying, pro-EU agenda on this country, and he is telling the British public that you have absolutely zero say in it.
This is not leadership. This is a hostile takeover by the globalist uniparty.
RT to expose the real, dictatorial Andy Burnham before they officially crown him on July 20th! 🔁🇬🇧🔥
The genius of Father Ted wasn’t that it told people what to think.
It simply exposed the ridiculousness of human nature and let the audience work it out for themselves. 😂🤣🤭
Andy Burnham:
Voted for the Iraq war.
Was a Labour MP for 16 years.
Would follow Rachel Reeves’ fiscal rules.
Wants to reverse Brexit.
Let down Pakistani rape gang victims.
He isn’t a “breath of fresh air,” he’s as bad as the rest.
Vote Reform.
If Burnham wins, a million low skilled migrants will be allowed to stay and get British citizenship in the next few years.
And he won’t stop the boats. Instead he will put them in bedsits on your street.
To pay for it all? He’ll have to hike your taxes.
This was the last text I ever received from my 34 year old Son, Edward. It was exactly a year ago today.
Within hours he was gone. He decided he wasn't "OK" and he took his own life just after midnight.
He was fighting on many fronts- Relationship problems, financial worry and issues with self esteem.
I think about him 100 times a day. I'd do anything to get him back, even if it was just for 5 minutes.
I'd say all the things to him that I didn't say when I had the opportunity. It's too late now.
Please take care of your loved ones. Watch over them. Many are struggling. Many are thinking dark thoughts. Many will take the decision to end their own suffering.
They need help and understanding. They probably won't get it from the "system" so it may be up to you.
Give someone a call today to ask how they're doing. Tell them Edward suggested it.
No10’s account is incredible.
I held Developed Vetting for nearly ten years and spent three years at the heart of the Cabinet Office. I have never heard of a Developed Vetting denial being overruled. Here’s why…🧵
Absolute bollocks.
Mass deportations were not in the manifesto that Rupert and Nigel had agreed and both endorsed.
All Nigel wanted was for Rupert to tone it down a bit until the country was ready for a harder turn to the right.
Nigel has 30 years of experience in trying not to give your enemies sticks to beat you with, hence the September 2024 interview when he said "mass deportations are a POLITICAL impossibility at this time".
Nigel hasn't backtracked at all, you've got things the wrong way round. His position has slowly turned harder to the right as time and opinion have allowed.
Mass deportations of all illegal immigrants and foreign criminals were announced in August 2025.
A month later, the abolition of indefinite leave to remain was also announced.
Months before Restore Britain even became a party.
As for pro-immigrant Tories - Nadim Zahawi and Nadine Dorries are simply members, like me, and haven't been offered any position in the party.
Robert Jenrick and Suella Braverman have both explained clearly that they didn't agree with the policies they were forced to implement by Conservative HQ and resigned when they couldn't change them.
Gavin Williamson has been advising Rupert Lowe behind the scenes, the man responsible for shutting down education during the Covid lockdowns.
Considering Rupert Lowe made millions of pounds manufacturing Covid test kits and Covid Vaccines, and also sells heat pumps and solar panels, I don't think he's quite the anti-establishment, anti-lockdown, anti-net-zero hero you make him out to be.
I have no problem at all with Zia Yusuf, he was born and raised in Britain and has shown nothing but love and respect for this country. He never mentions his religion, which he considers a private matter.
The money he donated to Reform came from the multi-million pound company he created and built from nothing. He now wants to give something back to the country that gave him everything.
People complain when they see Muslims slagging our country off and demanding Sharia law.
But when they become even more patriotic than some British people because they don't want to see our country become the place their parents escaped from - you still complain.
Make your mind up.
As for globalists and WEF puppets, ask Rupert Lowe why he has appointed Orla Minuhane to Restore.
She works for a company which has its hands all over digital ID and is a member of the WEF.
Funny that.
This is incredible.
The NHS is recruiting doctors to “work from the beach” in Malaysia.
Your local GP is being farmed off to a Bangalore call centre.
Yes, Labour has begun offshoring the NHS.
British patients are being forced to accept treatment from doctors based in Malaysia and India.
In fact, the job ads offer Malaysians the chance to “work for the NHS without leaving Malaysia” and they can even work remotely.
All this while the Chairman of the British Medical Association’s GP committee pleads with Labour to actually hire British workers.
Astonishingly, there are hundreds of home grown GPs actively seeking NHS work in the UK.
And that’s just the GPs already qualified, there is still an insane cap on funded medical school places for British students.
The Tories and now Labour placed hard caps on the number of homegrown medical students this country can train, and is now recruiting Malaysians to be British GPs, from their homes in Malaysia.
Meanwhile over 7 million patients are waiting for a GP appointment.
That’s almost EXACTLY the number of foreign born people have registered with GPs in the last decade.
The Tory-inflicted population explosion has crippled our NHS and now Labour is offshoring it.
Reform will reverse every single one of these travesties.
Britain needs Reform.
Anyone considering voting for the Green Party should know what their deputy leader has done. Also their leader Zack Polanski refuses to investigate and just ignores complaints.
Mothin Ali put out a video on social media about a Leeds University's Jewish Chaplain, claiming he should be sacked and charged for war crimes. Rabbi Deutsch is an Israeli national, so, like almost all of his countrymen under the age of 40. he is required to serve as a reservist in its armed forces. Following the October 7 terror attacks, he had therefore been called upon to temporarily return to his homeland. In the Video Ali says " This creep, that's the only who I want to describe him, is someone who went from Leeds to Israel to kill children and women and everyone else over there'" ignoring the fact that Deutsch went to Israel because he was legally required to. He also claimed that Deutsch was a 'far-Right radical" who was 'radicalising students'.
3 hours after Ali had shared the video (seen below) Deutsch started getting death threats (listen to one below) including threats to rape his wife & torture his kids.
Deutsch, his wife Nava and their two children were forced to move to a safe location ON POLICE ADVICE. He had to give up his job at the University due to the extreme constant anti-semetic attacks following Ali's video which he REFUSED TO DELETE.
The Green Party don't seem to care & pass it off as "free-speech". The fact that Zack Polanski refuses to even talk about it tells you all you need to know about him.... 🤬
There is a new belief taking hold among Britain's institutions, and it is as dangerous as it is dishonest. The countryside, we are told, is "too white." Not green. Not rural. Not historic. White. And therefore a problem to be fixed.
This is not satire. It is official policy. Government-commissioned reports now describe England's hills, fields, pubs and footpaths as a "white environment" that risks becoming "irrelevant" unless it is reshaped to reflect a "multicultural nation." Rural authorities are instructed to attract specific ethnic groups, redesign access, rewrite interpretation, adjust behaviour, and rebrand culture itself. All paid for by the taxpayer.
This is not about access to nature. No one is barred from walking in the countryside. There are no gates marked by race. What is being objected to is not exclusion, but presence. The wrong people, in the wrong numbers, in the wrong place. Solitude is suspect. Pubs are "problematic." Dogs are a "barrier." Englishness itself is quietly reframed as a form of hostility.
Once again, the pattern is familiar. First the language. Then the targets. Then the money. Culture is recast as a flaw. Continuity becomes "dominance." History is reduced to optics. And the group that built, sustained and preserved these places is told – politely, bureaucratically – that it must adapt or move aside.
What makes this moment different is that the countryside was never in crisis. Cities were transformed by pressure, density, and policy failure. The countryside was stable. Rooted. That stability is precisely why it is now being targeted. It stands as a rebuke to the idea that constant demographic churn is inevitable or desirable. So it must be corrected.
This is demographic engineering, not conservation. The state has decided that England's national landscape reflects the wrong story, and that story must be rewritten. Marketing is altered to show the "right" faces. Outreach is targeted at the "right" groups. Behaviour norms are revised. The land remains, but the meaning is changed.
We are told this is because "we all pay for it." But that argument collapses on contact with reality. If something truly belongs to everyone, you do not single out one group as a problem and instruct it to change. You do not racialise shared space. You do not treat existing culture as a barrier to be dismantled. That is not inclusion. It is displacement by policy.
The same logic now runs through housing, planning and migration. New towns dropped onto villages. Farmland sacrificed. Infrastructure ignored. Numbers driving everything, consent nowhere. The countryside is no longer a living inheritance but a blank surface onto which officials project social outcomes.
And notice the asymmetry. One group must always adapt. One culture must always soften, explain itself, dilute itself. The others are affirmed, accommodated, reassured. That alone tells you this is not about fairness. It is about power.
Once you accept that England itself is a racial problem, nothing is safe. Not villages. Not landscapes. Not history. What survives only does so until the next report declares it "unrepresentative."
The countryside does not need re-education. It does not need racial quotas, rewritten customs, or academic lectures about who belongs. It needs defending because when the state decides a country's heartland is "too white," it has already decided the country itself must change. And once continuity is broken, it does not return.
"The wrong people, in the wrong numbers, in the wrong place. Solitude is suspect. Pubs are "problematic." Dogs are a "barrier." Englishness itself is quietly reframed as a form of hostility."
