BREAKING: The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee has voted to hold Anthony Fauci in CONTEMPT OF CONGRESS after he invoked the Fifth Amendment more than 100 times during last week's hearing on COVID origins, vaccine policy, and pandemic restrictions.
Every Democrat, including Fetterman, on the committee voted to table the resolution, arguing that Senator Rand Paul's approach bypasses a full Senate vote, relies on an untested legal strategy, and that the committee should first hear from Fauci's attorney.
The resolution now moves forward as Senator Paul pursues a rarely used, but legal pathway, sending it through the VP, instead of a full Senate vote of contempt, to seek a Justice Department referral.
