Incredible Fri. Pro-D! Such an honour to hear Sara Davidson share her family's stories. Then, a full day with Ashley Edwards leading conversations on colonial history and paths towards decolonization. Much gratitude to the BTLA; BTA and Burnaby District... such a great day!
Thoughtful pro-d day : First Haida writer, educator Sara Davidson then looking at decolonizing library spaces w/ Ashley Edwards-Indigenous Initiatives & Instruction Librarian at SFU. Explored colonial history of library spaces & some next steps. Thx to the BTLA, the BTA and SD41.
@kelseybogan I don’t design buttons but students do. Canva and Procreate are great aids. Old graphic novels and other graphic texts can also be sliced into fantastic buttons.
