Last week my 8s became ⭐SUPERSTARS⭐ and many of them received this email for their hard work! What's next? My 8s have asked for the change of name from superstars to "Pham Favourites" 😂 but I say they're all my "Phavourites" and I'm a "Phan" of all of them!!

Today we did a spelling test and here were our favourites on how to spell "pneumonia" 😂 students really focused on growth mindset here and we had lots of laughs on our attempts in our learning ✏️

I had a blast at this years #CCTC2023 learning new things, seeing old friends, and making new ones! A particular highlight was hearing the lovely @andrewphung speak! What an incredible time with such amazing human beings. See you all again next year! ✨

On Friday we did PD on wellness and had an absolute blast running back and forth to build a structure. 🏗️ It was such a riveting challenge that will likely make its way into my classroom!!

Today was The Black Death Simulation ☠️ some of us died of factors of spread and some of us survived! Overall, we reviewed the plague and learned more about how it was possible that the plague spread so quickly! A little science in humanities made for an extra fun day 😁
