@2StefanMoore ๐ 2026 letโs make strides against this horrible disease for Ashley and too many others! No family should have to know this pain. We can find cures for childhood cancers!!
Iโll never forget the first time I met this amazing man. He respectfully challenged me regarding why I was only addressing my questions in female breast cancer. He was right. We adopted male models because of his advocacyโค๏ธ Rest in peace Angus.
Today, the Breast Cancer Canada community carries a profound sadness. We are mourning the loss of Angus Pratt: a long-time male breast cancer advocate whose voice and commitment reshaped the narrative of male patient advocacy in Canada.ย
Angus did more than speak up. He opened doors, changed conversations, and ensured male breast cancer patients were seen, understood, and included. He brought honesty, clarity, and gentle humour to our discussions that were often difficult.ย
His legacy lives on in every advocate he encouraged, in every clinician and researcher he engaged, and in every person who felt recognized because Angus made space for their experience. Angus, your impact will continue to shape progress for years to come.ย
May we honour Angus not only in memory, but through action that reflects the same integrity and purpose he modelled every day.ย
Rest gently, Angus. We will continue the work you championed. ๐ฉท
