@DrJenIzaakson Sadly missing the point. Those dogs were brought up & trained to be weapons. If XL Bullys never existed, the owner would simply have different large breed dogs, brought up the same way, with the same outcome. That’s why banning individual breeds doesn’t work. It’s a people issue.

The tragic incidents that have led the Prime Minister @rishisunak to announce his intention to ban the American XL bully are deeply distressing. He’s absolutely right, action is needed. However, banning this or any other breed of dog is not going to protect the public.
