I feel it is important to address concerns regarding the recently released Encyclical Letter, “Magnifica Humanitas,” of the Holy Father Leo XIV. https://t.co/oV9Cwt2Ece
We are living in a time when the world feels as though it is unraveling before our eyes. In moments like this, many people ask, “Who is right? Which side should I support? What position should I take?” https://t.co/Ow95lJVvYl
A security camera captured the exact moment a child stopped in front of the image of Jesus, cleaned the area, said a prayer, and left.
His family raised him very well; he respects values and beliefs.
The man who never spoke a word is called the Terror of Demons.
In the entire Bible, St. Joseph never speaks a single word. He is silent but he acts.
He wakes up at midnight to flee to Egypt. He protects the Virgin. He raises the Son of God. His title in the litany is Terror Daemonum (Terror of Demons). Why?
Because Satan fears silence. Satan fears the man who does his duty without complaining, without bragging, and without hesitation. St. Joseph is the model of the interior life. This makes him the perfect spiritual weapon in quiet spiritual combat.
In the age of fatherlessness & impurity we need the spirit of St Joseph more than ever.
Our modern world is plagued by weak men, broken homes & the collapse of fatherhood. St. Joseph is the antidote to the age.
St Joseph, Terror of Demons, pray for us!
When I was still an auxiliary bishop in Los Angeles, I attended with my brother bishops from California an ad limina visit with Pope Francis. At the conclusion of the meeting, as we were rising to leave, the Pope stopped us and said, “I want you all to battle the gender ideology that is sweeping your country. It is opposed to the Bible and to our Catholic anthropology.” In his later declaration “Dignitas infinita,” Pope Francis strongly reiterated this position, arguing that gender ideology is deeply harmful to the dignity of young people.
This is why I was so pleased to see Secretary Robert Kennedy’s announcement this morning that he is endeavoring to ban so-called gender re-assignment surgery and the use of puberty blockers that halt natural sexual development. The Catholic Church agrees with Secretary Kennedy that these procedures result in irreparable physical harm and typically increase the psychological distress of those who undergo them.
Anyone with a pastor’s heart sympathizes with those who suffer from gender dysphoria and insists that all people must be treated with love, compassion, respect, and dignity. But interventions that result in the mutilation of our young people are neither compassionate nor respectful. I’m grateful to Secretary Kennedy and the department of Health and Human Services for this action.
Hail Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with Thee.
Blessed art Thou amongst women, and Blessed is the fruit of Thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
Pray for us sinners, now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen
"The Church is not a human organization. She is not subject to the fashions of the day or the winds of doctrine. She must be faithful to Christ."
Robert Cardinal Sarah
Is this scandalous? Yes.
Should this be addressed? Absolutely.
But I want you to remember something;
•The teachings of the Catholic Church have not changed.
•Sodomy is still a sin.
•Marriage is still between a man and a woman.
•Receiving a sacrament in the state of mortal sin is still a mortal sin.
We have had bad priests before and we will have them again. Christ, himself, had a devil among His 12. This did not change that He was the way, the truth, and the life.
Scandal gets attention while good priests don’t garner enough reactions to go viral.
The gates of hell will not prevail against Christ’s Church. All grace comes into the world by means of the Catholic Church. It is the only place you will have access to the sacraments and to Jesus Christ, truly present in the Eucharist.
The devil wants you to be so emotional that he can convince you to abandon all of it. Do not let him.
These men will have to answer for their actions, and for every soul they misled in the process. God sees it and He will render perfect justice.
Pray for them. Pray for the pope. And pray for all of our priests.
@BishStrick Thank you, Bishop Strickland for speaking the truth. Catholics depend on the truth of Jesus, and we thank you for your courage and clarity. Hopefully, the USCCB and Rome are listening. God Bless you always. ✝️
Dear Faithful Catholics-
These words came to me after awakening this morning. They are words I should have said to break the silence after my intervention at the USCCB meeting. I say them now to Pope Leo, to the bishops and to all who claim to be disciples of Jesus Christ.
“How long will you halt between two masters? If you believe Christ is Lord, then follow Him! If the world is your master, then go to it! But no longer profane His sanctuary while you betray the Cross!”
Bishops, STOP with the games! STOP with the lies. STOP turning a blind eye to the little ones! A massive stockpile of millstones is ready to be distributed among you. One for Pope Leo, a truck load for the Curia in the Vatican, and cargo ships full for the vast majority of today’s successors of the Apostles.
How dare I speak these words, how dare I judge these princes of the Church? No brothers, HOW DARE YOU inflict harm on the little ones over and over again??
You harm the little ones when you make the Sacred Sacrifice of Jesus Christ, the Holy Mass, a bauble, a bargaining chip for your worldly conniving, a platform for spewing heresy and playing footsie with the world.
You harm the little ones when you welcome couples caught up in sin, flaunting their sad disordered lives and instead of calling them to repentance in Jesus Christ you have a chat about silly things and are acclaimed for being so kind. You even welcome them into the sacred sanctuary and drape a veil of blessing over the dung of their sin.
You harm the little ones when you spend hours in meetings quibbling over this word or that phrase when the world is guiding them deeper into darkness and despair. The little ones cry, “Where is hope” and they are ignored.
You harm the little ones when you promote lawlessness and turn a blind eye to the rapes, the murders and the attacks of nefarious criminals who waltz across open borders. Some of the little ones are caught up in these mass migrations and trampled upon as they seek a better life. Some of the little ones find their homes and towns invaded as shepherds say “we must welcome the stranger” and then allow marauders and criminals free rein.
We must all seek Jesus Christ as Lord and hear His call to repentance. We must say no to the depravities of the world and bring the light of truth to all the dark corners of the world. We must say no to the lawlessness that turns a blind eye to sin. We must believe that Jesus Christ is Lord.
We must be shepherds.
