@HCH_Hill I grant you that vivas for every assessment for student in every module would be impossible! But as far as I know that’s never been a standard part of the (wider) British or indeed North American university systems.
@HCH_Hill That thread seems mostly correct - but accommodations for disability etc. exist regardless of assessment type. I think the recent increase in exams has been a hassle for administrators at my uni, but a surmountable one.
