I digress... the truth is I’m just frustrating with churches who do nothing but preach about how great their church is, how far their church has come, who talks about big the church is getting. There’s a time and place to celebrate that. But can’t we leave sundays for Jesus?

I just wish we could strip things down. Stop trying to make church “cool enough” for people to come. Love & Kindness never go out of style. If you want people to come to your church then promote Jesus, let Him speak for Himself. He never needed any of that stuff & He doesn’t now.

Just saying, all the aesthetically pleasing banners, signs with the church name splattered across them, fog machines on stage and strobe lights, don’t cause or enhance an experience with God. And if they do, then it’s not a viable experience that’s going to last.

I watched the new Avengers: Infinity War trailer this morning about 5 times in a row and.. I don’t think I’m ready but also I’m so ready but like also can Kevin Feige can you just not cause I can’t even.

I ran into an old friend & his gf today, we did the standard “how you been” exchange for no more than 1 minute and his girlfriend has already started following me on social media.

The bottom line is I try to hold myself to a standard of excellency in all that I do and I’d like someone who does the same.

Now I know it’s not fair to compare other men to Tom Hiddleston, but he’s kind of shown me what to look for in a man (from what I do know of him) and then there’s also the fact that life isn’t fair so 🤷🏻‍♀️
