The topic of the Armory Datacenter has been at the forefront of the minds of many of us. Tomorrow is a pivotal moment to make your thoughts heard. #ALLNotSome
Join us for a Town Hall focused on real, near term safety improvements along the Gravois Corridor.
Resource fair will feature The Migrant and Immigrant Community Action Project and Parking Amnesty from 10-11am. As usual childcare & refreshments will be provided.
It’s with a shattered but undefeated heart that I post this statement regarding yesterday’s heinous killing in Minneapolis by ICE. Now is not the time for silence, & my community has my commitment that I will never be silent in the face of government sanctioned violence.
Whether you could use additional support or are looking to give back, there are a plethora of organizations in our community to connect with. Utility assistance will also be available on site! We know utility rates are higher than ever, and that this may be our coldest winter yet
Tremendous effort from advocates & city officials has gone into what are now BB 93, 94, and 95 —https://t.co/ZV8Ab4PFFy
I look forward to building on the momentum of these bills’ passage & continuing the hard work to keep our focus strong; even after the winter season ends.
2025 Office Hours! Remember you don’t need an appointment! Have a question about a bill at the BOA? A CSB report that’s been reported but hasn’t seen any action? Questions about what legislation I’m working on? Any and all of the above are what office hours are for!
I know data centers are at the top of a lot of our minds, and tomorrow and next week there are opportunities to learn more about the proposed data center, and share your feedback directly with the potential developers. Please see post for details.
Thank you to all of my colleagues for co-sponsoring resolution 92, which urges Ameren to resume pausing disconnections in tornado impacted areas and to forgive their debts. #AllNotSome
It’s been a decade since Whitney Brown was murdered. Her family says the pain never goes away and neither does their call for answers. No arrests have been made in her case. A balloon release will be held Wednesday , August 13 at 7 PM at the location where her life was tragically taken. @Fox2Now #ColdCase #NeverForget #WhitneyBrown
I was honored to attend the ground breaking of The Marqette Homes yesterday! The Marquette Homes project is proof that when our community developers, the City, and our partners can work together - centering our residents along the way - we can create lasting, generational change.
I strongly urge our City to drop all charges against Janis Mensah. The City should instead focus our energy on improved transparency, increased accountability, and ensuring all of those who are held within the CJC make it out alive. #JanisMensah#HolisticPublicSafety
On Monday, we officially broke ground for the Tower Grove Connector project! I was happy to support this project with ward capital funds, as I believe these types of connections are vital to our City as they improve pedestrian and cyclist safety!
We’ll have childcare and refreshments as usual! This is such an important conversation and one of the things I get the most questions about in our ward! Join me!
7th Ward our 6th TownHall is upon us and this time we’re talking public safety and what this looks like with SLMPD under state control! RSVP and submit your questions: https://t.co/kO49voMilQ
