The geniuses at ICE just arrested a Catholic nun, who practices as a nurse, as she was walking to church.
Our Republican colleagues think they need even more money.
Had enough?

Trump‘s and Lutnick‘s sons have been involved in 14 rare mineral deals that were collectively financed or will be financed by $8.9 billion US taxpayer money, as Trump seeks to find partnerships to get at these minerals. It’s one of the most disgusting displays of kleptocracy so far!

Trump ripped up the walkway between the West Wing and the mansion to replace it with polished African granite carved in Italy. "Paid for by me," he claimed. Except that's not true. Taxpayers paid $689,232, per documents obtained by @michaelscherer https://t.co/7l2bkD0MIH

Here, we have a president who, by his own account, personally called a federal prosecutor to intervene in an ongoing election — and the story has barely registered. https://t.co/6zrUxYKSK3
Vulcan Elements, a company tied to Donald Trump Jr., received a $620 million loan from the Department of Defense. White House and DOD officials may have exerted preferential treatment when awarding this loan.
That’s why we filed a complaint.
BBC isn’t backing down.
Trump sued them for $10 billion, which means discovery cuts both ways. Now the BBC wants his phone logs, private schedules, daily diaries, and communications from November 2020 through January 20, 2021.
They aren’t just defending the case. They’re asking a simple question: did their documentary damage Trump’s reputation, or did January 6 do that all by itself?
Lawsuits open doors, and discovery is fair game 💥

Phang: Inside his order, Judge Sullivan said that I am likely to succeed on the merits of my lawsuit, which speaks to the bigger success. Because the ultimate goal is the entirety of the Epstein files being produced, including the shit that Blanche continues to sit on, making sure it’s properly redacted.
Who’s supposed to find out if it’s properly redacted? The special master. And so it all kind of fits together in the bigger picture puzzle.
Trump just told the country, out loud, that he picks up the phone and orders federal prosecutors to investigate elections when he does not like how the vote is going.
He bragged about it twice this week.
He says he called a U.S. attorney in California, told him to "do me a favor," and look into a race his candidate might lose.
Here is the reality.
There is no evidence whatsoever of fraud in California's primary. Even Republican Steve Hilton, the candidate Trump claims he rescued, said he never heard about any call. LA County's top elections official said no one at the Justice Department touched their process. The count was not rigged. It was slow, because of how thorough California's system is.
Every registered voter is mailed a ballot.
Every returned ballot has its signature checked against the voter's file before it counts. Late-arriving mail ballots are still valid if postmarked by Election Day, etc.
Slow is not fraud.
If there are responsible ways to speed up the count without risking accuracy or security, I am all for it. Better fund our election offices, modernize ballot processing, and the like.
But that is not what Trump is doing. He still can’t admit he lost in 2020, so every election he dislikes becomes a crime in his mind.
Now he is bragging that he will aim federal prosecutors at results he does not like.
Explore ways to speed up the count responsibly and legally, yes.
Let a president investigate his way to the outcome he wants, never.

Less than 24 hours after RFK Jr. became health secretary, his press secretary delivered an order from him to the CDC: Take down your ad campaign promoting flu vaccines.
That same day, the CDC reported that influenza-related ailments that season had killed 68 children — 11 that week alone — and 16,000 people overall. https://t.co/u4BT4NZGOt

NEW EPISODE: A federal judge in Massachusetts just blocked Trump's executive order that would have let him use the Post Office to control who can vote by mail. This is a massive win for democracy — and it's not the only one. https://t.co/hT8xy0Vi0X
