Heads up, Denton County! We’re under a Severe Thunderstorm Warning currently and a Flood Watch until tonight. The storms moving through our area have the potential to bring heavy rain, strong winds, hail, and even localized flooding.
4:40 AM Update: A new Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for portions of North and Central Texas, including the DFW Metroplex, until 9 AM this morning. The Watch issued earlier for areas west of the Metroplex remains in effect through 6 AM this morning. #dfwwx#ctxwx#txwx
A Tornado Watch is in effect for most of North Texas until 8 PM this evening. Large hail, damaging wind gusts up to 70 mph, and a few tornadoes will all be possible through the remainder of the afternoon and into the evening. #dfwwx#ctxwx#txwx
