Last day of the holidays! A bit of light knitting and a walk round Braco Castle Gardens. Back in Glasgow now and it's chucking it down with rain, classic West Coast antics π€·ββοΈ #SummerKnitting#KnittingTwitter
Another holiday day! A good run around at MacRosty Park, lunch at Comrie Croft, and a walk in the woods. Baby fell asleep in the sling. Three year old had to be tempted along with wild raspberries and strawberries, not before attempting to ride our Jack Russell like a horse π€£
OK, everyone needs to be honest with me. Does this look OK???
I missed a sk2p and the slanted panels are different sizes. In my defense, I have a new baby and not much knitting time/ brain power. Is it OK to just leave it??? #KnittingTwitter
On holiday, chilling by Loch Earn. Tea and cake at the Village Store in St Fillans, a walk by the water to get the baby to sleep, then a productive half hour of throwing pebbles in the loch with my 3 year old, trying to achieve the perfect "plop". Time well spent.
@HeidiBrave@Ruthcrafts This is exactly what I was thinking. Although I think the amount of money I'll lose on this would be worth less than the time it would take to reknit. Also, I made the mistake either during my (3 day long) induced labour or with a brand new baby, so hopefully it's forgivable! π€£
@Ruthcrafts Oh amazing, thank you so much for this. I absolutely wouldn't mind, but I do plan on selling the pattern so obviously in an ideal world the sample knit wouldn't have any noticeable mistakes π

@thefinelime@espacetricot They were mainly leftovers from sweater knitting, and a few skeins of baby wool I've had since I was pregnant with my 3 year old π
Oops! Realised that I never posted any baby knitting pics! Here's a Chevron Blanket by @espacetricot. Very quick to knit in aran weight yarn, and perfect for keeping a spring newborn in Scotland nice and cosy! #BabyKnitting#KnittingTwitter
The weeds in my garden are looking rather lovely this year!
So our 3 yr old is starting to struggle with having to share me with our newborn, so we had an afternoon in the garden for just us two. Any advice on managing a feisty preschooler and grumpy baby gratefully received!
