Congratulations to Min Ji Choi, this year’s Korean poetry translation mentee! Min Ji will be translating Hwang Byeong-seung’s Transvestite Shikoku (여장남자 시코쿠), a collection that heralded a new era for Korean poetry in the early 2000s.
