@brunellaism It's hard to exist as someone who has read IJ multiple times and see all the lit bro stuff. Don Gately spends roughly 400 pages learning how to become a better human through emotional and spiritual growth. Hard to believe except people haven't actually read it.

The current trend toward surreal horror is a disappointing turn in the lit bro world. Lit bros need to get back to the kind of shocking sincerity and heart of Infinite Jest, a book far more critiqued than read these days.
