People will have their opinion on the Club selling Matty Fernandes to Spurs, some think we should never do business with them & to an extent I agree, but when they’re taking Kudus for £50 Mil+ then paying the £85 Mil we demanded for Fernandes, you can’t really argue.

The Club have played a blinder here, they knew what we wanted to get, told the player & their agent & got it, if the dwarf was still running things we’d have taken £55m-£60m weeks ago! Kretinsky however, has the money to back us, said something, meant it & got what we wanted .. that’s an owner I can get behind.

Selling Matty Fernandes for £20 Million less than what we got for Dec is unreal business, Rice had shown he was genuinely World Class for a couple of seasons at least & was consistently unbelievable. Spurs meanwhile having their pants pulled down by a Manager who has them over a barrel & will be off when he doesn’t get his own way.

If you think West Ham are getting £85m for Mateus Fernandes considering they were just relegated & badly need cash/deals done ASAP to meet Championship PSR rules, I have a bridge I’d like to sell you.

£58m for Romeo Lavia to Chelsea from Southampton after they were relegated is the current record sale for a Championship club, that’s the record that will be broken if only slightly so. Middle ground is a given.

Manchester United will be seeing him soon enough for much less than that ‘fee’. They will approach it much like the Mbeumo deal, that he only wants to join United & get a clear path to a deal.

I absolutely fucking love council estates when the sun’s out the whole place turns into Benidorm. Kids screaming up and down the road on scooters with one wheel missing, someone’s Bluetooth speaker blasting tunes that sound like they’ve been recorded through a toaster, and at least three separate arguments kicking off over absolutely nothing. Then you’ve got lads outside their gardens like they’re security guards for a club that doesn’t exist, just nodding at everyone like they’re important. The smell of weed in the air, baby mums running for the ice cream van with their tits swinging all over in their vest tops, smack heads peddling about topless on their kids ben 10 bikes, corner shop rammed full of people getting the beers in, and the ladies walking around with their fannies eating their shorts and little crop tops on like they're in fucking Cyprus. Then you’ve got that one bloke who’s been mowing the same patch of grass for two hours straight, shirt off, red as a lobster, acting like he’s maintaining Wembley Stadium
