We are delighted to announce the signing of full back Jack Tinker from @parksteelsfc

Jack joins the club after 5 years at Stocksbridge and prior to that being at Brighouse Town. Jack has been a mainstay in the Stocksbridge side with nearly 200 appearances putting him high up in the appearances ranks for the steels. He endured success by winning promotion to the Northern Premier League Premier Division 2 seasons ago with a dramatic penalty shootout win at Dunston and was a regular in the side in the division above last season.

💬 Jack Tinker had this to say upon signing “ I’m delighted to have signed at Liversedge, it’s a club that’s local to me, local to my family and a club that seems to be going in the right direction having achieved promotion last year.

The conversations with Danny were open and honest. He spoke highly of the club and the people involved in it. He told me his plans for the year and how I fit in too it and it was very positive.

It was a difficult decision to leave a club I’ve been at for so long. I’ve made many memories and some great friends so it wasn’t easy. Hopefully a change is good and something that will benefit myself and the club moving forward.

I’ve learnt a lot at Stocksbridge playing under Ian and even the last 8 months playing under Lemo. I’m excited to work under Danny’s leadership and hopefully learn a lot from him and help myself and the club progress.

I’ve experienced promotion via the play offs when we was favourites to go down at Stocksbridge. My personal aim has always been to play every single game to the best of my ability and as a club we want to see how far we can go up the table.”

💬 Manager Danny Forest commented “ Jack is a great addition for the club in terms of pedigree, age, experience and the quality he possesses.

He’s at a great stage in his career and has had lots of experiences which have helped shape him into the player he is today. We’re excited to have him and fully believe he’s another great fit for us”

We are delighted to announce the signing of striker Kayle Price from Silsden

Kayle is a striker well known in the non league scene in West Yorkshire with prolific scoring spells at Steeton, Golcar and Silsden and will be looking to bring that goal scoring form to the Clayborn

💬 Kayle has this to say upon signing “Buzzing to be here, the lads I’ve spoken to at the club have only said positive things which made my decision easier. I think for me personally at this time it’s a great move and now I just can’t wait to get started.

Every conversation I’ve had with Danny has been great. I’ve spoken with him on probably 3 different occasions over the years but this time it felt the right time to move and finally play for him.

Nothing beats the feeling of scoring goals and that’s exactly what I’ve come here to do. Put the ball in the back of the net and see how high we can finish up the table

I feel the targets should be set high this season with the squad that’s being assembled. I know a few of the lads well and know of most of the others, there’s some top players in there which is exciting.”
