Ready, Set, Action! Drama and comedy in the classroom encourage children to listen and participate. Laughter is a great indicator of engagement. What are you doing to create a space that engages your students? Do you need to change the narrative?

Warm-Up Wednesday: There are 2.5 quintillion bytes of data created each day at our current pace, but that pace is only accelerating with the growth of the Internet of Things! Are you making sure your brain is creating more data on a daily basis?

Happy (almost) Halloween! Have your students write their own SPOOKY story. Pass them out to the students, don’t tell them whose story they have. Have them share the story they received with the class & have the class vote on whose story they think has the most Halloween spirit.
Use what you know to learn what you don’t. This practice is called associative learning. Help a student find the similarities between something they already know and something they are trying to figure out. For example, a football spiral and a slope of a curve! #KidsAreTheFuture
