Thursday, September 30th, 2021, marks the first National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
The day honours lost Indigenous children and survivors of residential schools, their families, and communities. It is also a call for action. For systemic change.
So often we believe our goals are unattainable. I politely call BS
Believing we can do it is such an integral part of the journey. Seeing it in a plan helps bring it to life.

To be fierce, one should know themselves, inside and out. Or at lease be continuous trying to get to know yourself.
How do we do that? Introspection
What is that? Taking time to ask ourselves some tough questions, and taking a little more time trying to answer them.

This month's theme is The Reflection Pool. The LYF Team is feeling the need to take a breath, look inside and spend some time reflecting so that we can move on and up.

Change = Discomfort
Change is essential for success and inevitable in life. Being uncomfortable can become exciting rather than terrifying.

Fierce Words: “Don’t accept that others know you better than you know yourself.”

Reoccurring 'gut feelings' could mean you are not paying attention to something important.
