Yahya Abdul-Mateen II is the ideal actor to take up Fishburne's mantle in The Matrix Resurrections: He's a scene-stealer with an uncanny knack for stirring something deep inside the viewer. https://t.co/CSri0rEZ3w (From 2021) 📷: Murray Close
@robdelaney Bandcamp is a bit more bespoke than Spotify for streaming, but it’s worth mentioning that on the 1st Friday of the month since March 2020 (including tomorrow!) they’ve waived their share of the revenue so the bands get all of the money made that day- https://t.co/G9e8zjq9FA
I recently discovered that I find the combination popping and shattering sound of a lightbulb breaking very satisfying. So I’ve got that going on psychologically.
@BrianLynch@ManMadeMoon Ideally in the same movie, where halfway through there’s a Freaky Friday-ish situation where the Muppets become human and Matt Berry a Muppet. Please and thank you.
@KenMarino Pre-9/11 I walked into the Pentagon, thinking they’d have some kind of little museum and you could get a tour. They did not, you could not, and they were not thrilled about the whole situation.
@JohnFetterman I immediately pictured the Storybook Forest, but based on Hieronymus Bosch paintings instead of fairy tales so it’s just a lot of demons and trumpets-playing butts.
@briancgrubb @gourmetspud @mattufford Wayne on Amazon is really good too though. I saw it described as John Wick meets John Hughes, but basically it’s about a teenage boy from Boston who loves a good rampage and goes on a road trip with his girlfriend to get his dad’s Trans Am back.
@briancgrubb @gourmetspud @mattufford It’s OK Brian; maybe there’ll be another show with a 6 minute long one-shot narrated by a song about robbing a French grocer with a nice face that ends with 2 people getting their fingers shot off (RIP Patriot).
@jordanzadler Allegedly not (https://t.co/PlBUYgSHjQ), but it wouldn’t surprise me either way. It certainly wouldn’t be the first time his righteous indignation collided with stupidity in a fantastic self-own.
@ITYSL Not a movie, but Kingdom on Netflix is really good. It’s about a power struggle between ruling families in feudal Korea, but also there are zombies and they’re the fast super fuck-you-up kind.
