Took over as Head Coach for our Coronado High School Football Program two years ago, and we were blessed to raise $55,000 in nine months, for our brand new weight room! That’s where you build power, explosiveness, mental toughness, and team culture!

In order to develop “family”, we have LB dinner every Tuesday. No phones, no football talk. You have to care about your brother’s success as much as yours if you hope to develop a winning culture. Breaking bread together is the first step in my mind to get there #lizardfbchat
@coachbrownrigg A3 end of the year we give out best ol award. Also am thinking about doing wristbands. Best thing team wide We did this year was helmet stickers. Can get one for pancake. Also get one if on the field for td. Oline always has the most every week because they are always out there
A2: We did a staff book study on Joe Ehrmann's book "Inside Out Coaching"- Reflections/discussions we've had have impacted the culture of our staff and in-turn, will impact the team/program culture (Great Book!)

Player turnover - best/worst part about coaching JC you finally get your athletes gamed up & executing flawlessly at 4 year standard & then they graduate!
Staff Turnover - 1 FT HC & 6 stipends, avg $ of rent is 1400 to 2k per month in area gotta get creative!

A1: Our players work hard/play hard when they are HERE. We are constantly trying to find ways to keep them engaged and focused when they get away from us. Need players to want to do things on their own time (film/drills/etc.) that is needed to take us to next level.
