Can we talk about the foster care system?! Which is already over crowded and hardly any case workers. The ones that do work in the system have 5x more children on their caseloads than they should. But yeah, let’s force people to have children that might end up in the system. 🫠
The 2022 Federal Poverty Line, which is used in most states to qualify someone for Medicaid, for a family of 1 is $1132.50/month gross income. Like bro!!!!! You can force a person to have a child but then not have universal healthcare.
The cost to carry a child, including prenatal visits, and give birth without insurance could be anywhere from $7,000 to $30,000. Depending on complications, if any.
This is about controlling bodies and keeping people in systemic poverty for generations. It’s heartbreaking that this personal medical decision has been made by people enforcing their evangelical beliefs on all of us.
@DanniRenai1224 Dude. I’m at the Winchester. They do drag brunch twice a month and it’s so good. I might make my way to twist and if I do, I’ll let you know 🖤
