Every flat has a storage room (berging) where you can leave your bike etc on the ground floor of the building.

@Michaelsmither4 @Cycling_Embassy We don't have mega high flats because of the soft ground.I have friends living on the top (10th floor) and they all have ground floor storage too. I think there are rules about minimum requirements for bike/scooter storage in new builds (Bouwbesluit) but I dont know the details.
