Erik was brought into the shelter from Animal Control on 7/16/26 with either we suspect his younger brother or son Charles. We don’t know a lot about Erik at this time, but we want to get his face out there to be seen before the 11th hour.

Erik is a gorgeous white/gray husky with the most striking blue eyes. Come and visit him at the shelter today and be his hero.

Please, please don’t look away from MARKELIS.

This beautiful boy is only 3 years old, yet his life is hanging in the balance. He should be spending his days playing, being loved, and sleeping safely in a home, not waiting and hoping someone will save him before it’s too late.

Just look at his face. Look at those eyes. He isn’t giving up, but he needs someone to see him. He needs someone to care. Every hour that passes matters.

MARKELIS does not have the luxury of waiting for the perfect adopter. He needs a hero NOW. A foster can save his life. An adopter can save his life. Even sharing his story could put him in front of the one person who says, “I’ll take him.”
