Over a month ago, @donne_uk's report revealed that 92.5% of the repertoire played by 100+ orchestras worldwide was written by men.
Our additional analysis shows that 89.9% of chief conductors are men, with only 10.1% being women.

So excited to be singing tonight with Beth Moxon and Jonathan Drummond; we're doing a super cosy concert at Headingley Enterprise and Arts Centre tonight at 7:15pm for Leeds Combined Arts.
£3.50 cash on the door - refreshments and programme included.
Me, Beth Moxon (mezzo), and Jonathan Drummond (piano) are doing a charity concert at HEART in Headingley at 7pm Thursday 18th July. Entry is £3.50 cash on the door.
It is delightful news that the tories are out and by such a huge margin. BUT I cannot emphasise how much I hope Labour goes back on their transphobic pledges, especially as @Keir_Starmer is a human rights specialist and shouldn't need reminding that that means rights for all.
APNews: A new report by Donne, Women in Music found the percentage of repertoires performed in orchestras by women and global majority composers has fallen @donne_uk

My minimum to raise is only £11, but I want to do better and aiming for £100. Please consider donating any amount if you're able as Staying Put do some amazing work for people of all genders who are in terrible situations.

I have always been very terrible at running and have never got past the first run of couch to 5k until this month! I've joined a fantastically supportive running group, Recovery Runners Community and am now part way through my couch to 5k journey...
To give something back (and for extra motivation), I've signed up to run a 5k this August in Leeds on behalf of Staying Put - a charity supporting survivors of domestic abuse and violence.
🚨 A new report from @Donne_UK reveals there is still a significant imbalance of equality and diversity in orchestral concert programming.
Despite years of discussions on inclusivity, there is a lot of work to do⬇️
