Draymond Green:
“Shai, you've reached a new level of greatness my man... you got sports media coming out and talking about what they don't like about your greatness, as if SGA is running up and down the court with the whistle in his mouth calling a foul for himself... you all think the NBA is that easy to where this guy just flops and goes to the free throw line and he becomes the back to back MVP? We really gonna dumb the NBA down to that?”

University of Houston coach Kelvin Sampson on how committed Mercy Miller's been to the Houston program: "Mercy committed to me when he was 15 years old. And he held that commitment. And here we are, now Mercy's 20 and he's still committed.
"That's not the way it is at most places. But there's a respect factor that I have for Mercy that makes my heart swell. And it makes me feel good inside to see where he is. Based on where he's been. . .
"When his time came, he was ready. I'm excited about Mercy going forward. Because Mercy has the ability to make our team better."

Coach Kelvin Sampson on Chase McCarty and Mercy Miller:
“I like the way Mercy and Chase finished that game (vs. Kansas). And I thought it was important that they follow that up with a prove-it practice. And they were good again yesterday, so we rewarded them.”
McCarty finished with 10 points and 4 rebounds on 3-5 shooting.
Miller scored 10 points as well, hauling in a team-high 8 rebounds.
