“Easy magic is pretty. Great magic asks that you trouble the waters. It requires a disruption, something new.”

[HEADMASTER'S QUARTERS. @EAHEADMASTER]

Good afternoon, Magicbornes!

We apologize for only making this thread now, but things have been very hectic on our end ooc, so it was hard to find time.

To get straight to the point (one that all of you saw coming): we will be closing Elementaire Academy UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

[CHEF JANG 🥢 @LJHBORNE97]

I miss you my shaylas

[CHEF JANG 🥢 @LJHBORNE97]

Good morning!

[CHEF JANG 🥢 @LJHBORNE97]

Welcome to all newcomers! (😊)

@KDHBORNE04 Good morning, Jude

"What are you trying to make?" His voice was low, slightly concerned. He cannot dare to see his kitchen burn out of personal anger from her

[CHEF JANG 🥢 @LJHBORNE97]

The chef didn't dare to speak some more, slightly flinching when she passed by, his gaze following her strides. Hand on his temple, he gently rubbed the imaginary itch as he followed the woman. .

How difficult could a simple plate of pancakes be to recreate? If Nicholas found it as easy as breathing, surely it would be of little consequence to the fireborne.

If all else fails, then she would simply settle for an assortment of fruits——typical elven food.

As they both entered the kitchen, Jang watched her movement with cautious and careful observation, arms crossed while standing meters away from the elf.

[CHEF JANG 🥢 @LJHBORNE97]

Eager to leave huh... It was just a moment of weakness ( and being a coward )

With no due respect, I’d rather sequester myself in my office and in my room.

« She readjusts her glowing hair with a haughty huff. »

You’re suspiciously excited for someone who was eager to leave.

[CHEF JANG 🥢 @LJHBORNE97]

"Excuse me? You? Preparing yourself breakfast?" He knew he heard it right, but it sounded unbelievable knowing her inability to work in a kitchen. "Don't be stubborn and let me help you instead."

[CHEF JANG 🥢 @LJHBORNE97]

He was quite taken aback by her answer, amused that she was still talking to him despite everything. A part of him was expecting a different answer, but who is he to expect something from her when he was the reason for her dismissive approach?

❛ Attend to your other duties. I’ll be heading the kitchen to prepare myself breakfast. ❜

The human knew of her inability to do anything in the kitchen, yet her pride refused to settle for anything less than a firm declaration.

⠀ ⠀

[CHEF JANG 🥢 @LJHBORNE97]

Can a man not dream and change? The chef pursed his lips together, nodding in understanding and defeat. He doesn't want to ruin anyone's day, not the red-headed elf he once lov— before she could say more, he opened his mouth to try stopping her

( Brows raised in amusement, eventually grinning, his upper teeth showing ) Stalker is such a big word to define an ex-husband. Why can't you accept the fact that we will be seeing each other more often now as we are working in the same academy, hmm?

⠀ ⠀

UGH——I don’t need to cope with anything! Perhaps you should start reassessing your own motivations, stalker.

« Her eyes roll, voice dipping into a grumble. »

Destiny, c'est ridicule.

⠀ ⠀

[CHEF JANG 🥢 @LJHBORNE97]

His answer was far from her question. "What can I get you, milady?" His smile didn't leave his face, not breaking the eye contact.

[CHEF JANG 🥢 @LJHBORNE97]

From the moment he woke up until he served the academy's breakfast in the food hall, the chef believed that it'll be another slow but productive day for him. He decided to keep himself busy to divert his attention from the curses happening in his surroundings.

in front of her, trying to get her attention. He had a sheepish smile starting to curve in the corner of his lips. "Looks like you didn't age. It's been a while and I didn't expect you to be here."
