Elon has pushed hard on reducing bot spam, opening up the algorithm, and letting more views through, but the platform still rewards engagement, and the easiest engagement often comes from the dumbest posts.
That’s not unique to X — it’s how most large social platforms work once they scale. The difference is that on X you can still see and reply to almost anything, so the nursery-level stuff is more visible.
He’s not magically going to make every user smarter. The feed reflects the users.
