I’m very excited and blessed to announce my commitment to Iowa Central! Thank you to all the coaches, teammates, and people that have helped me along my path! All glory to god! #RTR🔱
Brayden Meyer (‘25, IA) works wider here and leveraged well. Good strength to impact, quiet lower half. Direct hands. Able to drive it PS for a double on this one. @IowaSticks@PG_Uncommitted#PGSpringLeague
In education you don't always see the impact you make but when you do, it makes the difficult times that much sweeter. Thanks @LHSBoltBaseball for making this happen and thanks @mayerluke7 for making me a better
educator.
Liberty Sophomores sweep Central Dewitt at home. Start season 6-0.
Game 1: 15-6
Hughes & McKee teamed up on the bump. Only 2 ER allowed, 8 Ks combined.
Mayer has a double, a triple, and an RBI
Game 2: 6-5
Mayer with a pinch hit HR to tie the game in the 7th. Then a walkoff E.
Excited to announce that I will be continuing my academic and athletic career @StormBaseballSC! I want to thank my family, all of my teammates, friends, and all of my coach’s that helped me get to where I am today! #RollStorm 🔴🟡⚡️@TylerWillis24 @PBRIowa
Governor Reynolds' voucher bill will cost $340,000,000 annually, not including administrative costs. This is actually a very conservative estimate. Most states that have implemented a similar voucher system have seen much higher actual costs. https://t.co/ILhTM09GKZ
Good point about voucher bill. Another point is that not all private schools are wanting and ready for serving more kids. Classroom spaces? Programs? Special Ed? Gifted? I believe education in our state would be on top if public schools got the same support.
Gov Reynolds voucher plan will cost $106.9 million in year one. That would be enough to give every public school teacher in IA a $2800 raise. #novouchers
All it takes is just one adult to be the difference- no matter your roll from Principal, bus driver, secretary, teacher to custodian or teachers assistant - we all have an opportunity everyday to change the outcome & trajectory for a child - it’s all our responsibility!
Teacher tired isn't just about all the decisions made each day or trying to engage and teach a classroom full of students, which is a lot, but it is also the energy, love, & care that they put into helping all those students become their best self. Thank You Teachers!
