First science club of the new year was a blast with Year 7 and 8 pupils building an earthquake resistant structure out of spaghetti and marshmallows 🧑‍🔬 @LlantwitMajorSc

It’s been an exciting past 3 weeks for our pupils here @LlantwitMajorSc working with Bri all the way from @MIT as part of the @GTLWales project where they took part in a design challenge to produce the plane with the longest flight time

Science Club has returned 🎉 this week pupils were challenged to make a functional race car out of only a carrot and potato 🏎️

Some of our Year 10 pupils have been busy these past few weeks. First with a trip to @SwanseaUni for a Festivals of Chemistry Discovery Day

And then onto @CAVC to compete in the ICAT Aeronautical Engineering Challenge where they demonstrated their aptitude for team work, precision and aircraft flying skills ✈️
