By this metric, the $Euro and other European currencies have a half life of 13 years
Every 13 years, your savings lost you 50% of your purchasing power.
Every 13 years, your salary needs to double, to keep up.
When you invest, you need AT LEAST 5% Yearly ROI - Excluding TAXES
@gazza_jenks I.e. it doesn't necessarily mean harm will come any time soon. Just that it's rational to prepare for small setbacks.
Yet, it is eerie, and it smells of future escalation. Any step towards resilience assumes future hardship.
That's all I've got for now
@gazza_jenks Danish people were told to keep 3 days of food and water n stuff a couple of years ago. I remember realising it is a scary feeling.
At the same time, with all the hacks, infrastructure can be broken over night; which means it's rational to keep a little something something.
@EricBoehm87 You don't need the third movie, he's already stubborn, arrogant, and impatient in the first; and murderous in the second .
But many people love the paychos 🤷♂️
@Greekdx I bet you also side with Daenaris, Walter White and Anton Chigurh
It doesn't bode well for people who are rooting for being ruled by psychopaths.
If you view yourself as the main character, the psychopath, I commend you for blatantly revealing it. Hopefully you'll learn.
@Nath_Rake@HannahGraceLong Another example is Daenaris. People named their children after her, because they were lured by her charm. That's why psychopathy keeps working (for some of them).
I admit, I endulged in Daenaris too - in the beginning. Before I realised what she was.
@Nath_Rake@HannahGraceLong There is evil in the Jedis. Obviously, as there are in anyone.
Siding with a psychopath is still a horrible take.
You can hate the Jedi as much as the tards hate on Skylar from BB, but it doesn't change that the protagonist was the bad guy. And he lured you with his charm.
@Ravoyd@FinrodOfNargoth Yay drawing him out as 'powerful' is ridiculous. His whole thing from childhood was partly about compensating for feeling powerless s as a slave.
Had he accepted his fate, he would have become good. But his destiny was to bring Balance to the force, just on the opposite side.
@undoneprophecy It's so incredibly ironic
I remember people makibg fun of him for being a weak willed villain a decade ago
Now all of a sudden he's the hero?
Remember how much people ridiculed him? Suddenly a bunch of weirdos worship him cos he fits their narrative of not taking responsibility
@ThomBrady5 The boy was arrogant and ignorant. With a great rollemodel like Obi Wan, he could have turned out great.
But he enjoyed the power ever since he won that race, the power of being stronger and wiser than the other slaves, and the power to act out his revenge on the village.
@theRWMillennial@HannahGraceLong "Natural and good desires" for slaughtering a village in revenge? And being too arrogant to wait a bit with getting your 'fav title'? And maybe stopping the fight instead of popping Windu? What 'good' desire made him k!ll the children?
