The bar was so low, I don’t even understand how NDC is finding a way to go lower.
The previous government was rejected so badly that NDC won 13 out of 16 regions. Ghanaians did not just vote for change, they sent a warning.
All this government has to do is listen, stay humble, work and deliver but look at how some appointees and institutions are moving.
People are suffering and some of them are acting like power is a reward not a responsibility. Ghanaians want results. Thats all.
Many of us can testify that President John Dramani Mahama is putting in a lot of work to reset the country. Unfortunately, some appointees seem more focused on living their best lives than matching the President’s energy and commitment.
When we see some of these things on the internet, it makes many of us sad and even regret the effort we put into campaigning for a better Ghana, wearing party shirts and carrying party flags with hope for real change.
The new generation of Ghanaian voters largely vote based on how they feel in the moment. The NPP government was voted out because many Ghanaians were angry and felt government was no longer listening. If lessons are not learned, history can repeat itself.
The state of the nation is bleeding, yet look at what some people are prioritizing. Ghanaians want results, accountability, and leaders who understand the concerns of ordinary citizens.
