🚨 How To Fix Gambling Twitter 🚨
Obviously I’ve been In The community for some time now and have been exposing frauds and trying to clean up the filth that’s here, but it’s tough - and one person can’t do it alone. Below I’ve broken some segments out on what you, I, we, can do to fix the community.
A) Transparency: This is the most important and legitimately the baseline for touts. How can they sell a results based product without tracking? “Oh, but I post daily recaps!”. Don’t care. Daily recaps eventually turn to weekly, or monthly. Then it’s “Oh, I forgot about one.” “Sorry, was lazy and didn’t do it.” Bull shit. There’s endless 3rd party tracking sites available all for free. Action, Pikkit, betstamp, even more. THE ONLY REASON A CAPPER IS NOT USING ONE IS BECAUSE THEY ARE A LOSING BETTOR. Why in the world would someone who is profitable NOT want to publicly show all of their winnings? Logically does NOT make sense.
B) Pressure: Mixed with transparency, but YOU the consumer have a voice. You fund these touts. Without you they are nothing. So speak out. No tracker? Why. Push them to do it. Botched recap? Fix it. Don’t let it happen again. This is a paid service isn’t it? Bad lines, late plays - enough, speak out or cancel. 0 tolerance for a garbage product.
C) Community: The gambling community is growing more and more and connections are being made. If you see something shady going on speak out on it - but reach out. There’s a bunch of larger cappers with a bigger following that will talk on these subjects and get a larger reach out. In turn theoretically exposing bullshit quicker and more effectively.
D) Research: While I bash touts, it’s not just them, the community itself is at fault. How can a sane person pay $50 a month for someone who posts 500U mega shark whales daily? Or sells INSIDE INFO game? Even blatant fake edited slips? We have to be doing more research. Learn about gambling before you join the community. Basic knowledge could save you a bunch of money and likely even make you some on the way. Super small stuff like long-term winners don’t win even hit close to 60% of YTD bets. Implied probabilities, what does -110 actually mean? Why playing -160 straights daily is an awful idea, but at the same time why taking a -215 line doesn’t make you an absolute moron. What’s an edge? All simple topics everyone should know, but factually maybe 15% of the community does. Pulled that out of my ass - probably less.
E) Free: While we can try to clean up the space there’s just some things that will never stop. There will always be scams no matter what we do. But, an easy way to save yourself that money is just go look at free picks. There are 100 free cappers out there that are either entirely free or post a chunk of their plays for free. There is genuinely almost no reason to be paying for picks when you can get similar results without a subscription.
F) Toxicity: similar to above, scams will always be apart of the community and so will toxicity. But what if we just angled that towards scumbags and stopped ripping on guys that are just trying to help the community? I saw a 100% free capper posting CBB plays with gem write ups DAILY that was tracking daily AND up around 30U on 1U plays and he was getting RIPPED for any loss. I mean this was free analysis that 99% of paid VIPs would never come close to posting,Sometimes we have to grow up. You will lose. A lot. Manage your bankroll and stop bashing someone’s free picks. At the end of the day you hit submit. You liked the pick. Even the new Elf spaces where he’s trying to bring the community together and openly discuss these scams - I see people talking trash about him and the spaces. Odd behavior. I’ll even get ripped for this post, but it is what it is.
TLDR;
Make gambling twitter great again
