Celebrating our team this Volunteers Week! All giving up their spare time to promote organ donation, improve education about organ donation & help fund transplant research!
Behind the statistics is a man called Adnan.
After sudden kidney failure, caused by IgA nephropathy, in 2013, a kidney transplant transformed his life. Sadly, after 12 years, that transplant is failing. Like many ethnic minority patients UK Adnan will likely face a longer wait.
Today the Transplant Four Nations kicks off in Scotland - teams of players only here because of organ donation.
Remember - your family will always have the final say in organ donation.
Make sure they know what you want.
Update your organ donor decision.
