My students never cease to amaze me whenever I assign this project (#DesmosNames). I get some of their best work and I hear things like "this was fun" and "I felt so smart doing this." These were created using just math equations in Desmos' graphing calculator! #mathISfun#MTBoS
Love, love, love the Desmos Name Project every time I assign it. Today a student told me that whenever she makes an equation go where she wants it, and then changes the domain to cut it off exactly right, she "feels really smart." #mathISfun
@ACTStudent The triangles are right triangles. Since the triangle on the left has a height of 4 and a hypotenuse of 5, it's a 3-4-5 triangle. Making that first part of segment DC 3 units long. That means the last part of DC must also be 3 units long. But that would make that triangle...
