⛽️ The Oil, Gas, Diesel Conversion Continued ⛽️

Y’all keep yelling at the pump like Trump woke up and invented diesel prices. Sit down for two minutes PLEASE and actually read this before you go full blackpill and hand November to the same crowd that spent four years shutting American energy down.

Gas right now is about $4.44. That is not nothing. I fill up too. It is also still under Biden’s $5.02 peak from June 2022. Diesel is the one that is eating people alive. Truckers. Farmers. Harvest. That number is ugly and I am not going to lie to you about it.

❗️Here is what most of the rage accounts will not say.❗️

We do not have a “America ran out of oil” problem. We produce more crude than we burn. The problem is what kind of oil we make and what we can turn it into. American shale is light sweet crude. Great for gasoline. Diesel, jet fuel, and a lot of what the Gulf and Asia sell the world come out of heavier barrels and from refineries that sit on the other side of the Strait of Hormuz.

Two things hit that system at the same time.
1) Iran and the choke point.
2) Ukraine knocking Russian diesel plants offline.

Russia used to dump about a million barrels a day of diesel on the world. That tap got slammed. Middle East product got squeezed. Our refineries are already running around 98 percent. You cannot just “drill a well this afternoon” and have diesel on the rack tomorrow. That is not how a barrel works.
That is the short term discomfort. It is real.

It is also NOT the STRATEGY.

Trump’s play is not “love the war, ignore the pump.” It is stop letting a nuclear Iran own the world’s energy choke point, force more American barrels and more American refining back online, and tell the Arab producers they can either help keep the market supplied or watch us replace them. That is why he is hauling refiners into the White House. That is why they are talking Defense Production Act, faster permits, and expanding capacity instead of the last crowd’s “keep it in the ground” sermon.

When Hormuz opens back up and that refining slack gets built here instead of in somebody else’s country, GAS and DIESEL both come down. Not because a post made it so. Because supply finally matches demand again.

The left and a few professional pessimists on our own side want you to treat a war-time distillate crunch like proof energy dominance is a scam. IT IS THE OPPOSITE!

The scam was closing U.S. refining, begging OPEC, draining the reserve for politics (Joe Biden), and then acting shocked when the world ran short of diesel.

You can be mad at $6 diesel. You should be. What you should NOT do is sit out the MIDTERMS because the receipt hurts this month.

The people who will take the gavel if YOU stay home are the ones who made us dependent on the very choke points we are now paying for.

SHORT TERM PAIN is the bill for a broken global fuel system. LONG TERM CHEAPER FUEL is more AMERICAN OIL, more AMERICAN REFINING , and nobody in Tehran holding a gun to the Strait.

That is the plan. Read it before you torch it. 🇺🇸

As a neurosurgeon, I've operated on two patients with nearly identical injuries many times.

II Corinthians 12:9 says, “But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’” (ESV)

Grace does not always remove the thorn. It changes what the thorn is allowed to mean.

Self-Brain Surgery:
The sixth commandment of self-brain surgery is this: I must love tomorrow more than I hate how I feel right now.
That is not denial. It is orientation.

When the signal flares, do the operation. Tell the truth: This hurts.

Then refuse the second injury—the story that this feeling is the future. Aim your attention at the next faithful step, the people who still need you, the hope that is still allowed to be true.

Same tissue. Different mind. Different path.
