Some of the voters were less open about being about being asked about their vote in Conestoga. A Trump supporter shouted at me “if you want to talk to a Biden voter you can go over there,” he said, pointing away from him. “You’d have to be absolutely r*tarded to vote for Biden.”

I’m now at Conestoga Fire Hall on Main Street. Steady traffic as about 20 or so people wait in line outside the fire hall. This exact spot voted more than 3-1 for Trump over Clinton in 2016.

#ElectionDay Tip: Bring a friend with you to vote. People I’ve spoken with told me they could not believe they waited 40+ minutes because they were caught up in conversation with a friend or loved one. Felt much shorter.

Brandon Tang, 23, an Amazon warehouse employee, told me he voted for @JoeBiden. Tang said he ordered a mail-in ballot but it didn’t arrive on time. He added he generally agrees with Biden’s policies, but his vote was more of a strike against the incumbent president.

A line of more than 60 people were waiting outside this polling place in Lancaster Township at 7 a.m. It’s now down to a steady 15 with a few people joining every 5 minutes or so.

A volunteer with CASA told me she suspects voters came early to get their votes in before work.

They waited about 40 minutes to cast their votes.

Amanda Lyda and her longtime friend Jose Castro, both 28, just voted for Joe Biden. In 2016, Lyda voted for Hillary Clinton and Castro voted for Donald Trump.

Castro, a registered Republican, said he switched from Trump to Biden because “he’s just a very abrasive man. I don’t like the divisiveness, and he doubles down on the negative things he says.”

And lastly, VOTE! Polls are open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. here in Pennsylvania.

Good Election Day morning. I’m outside Millersville Bible Church in Lancaster Township as the first in-person votes are cast this morning. Four years ago, this polling place went for Hillary Clinton by more than 2-1 over Donald Trump.
