@GaryRainmaker@JonFlynnREstats Hopefully your neighbors are in the same situation and you didn't have to sell for 3 years or so. Otherwise they will drive your price down with comps in the next 6-12 months.
@offgridstone Yo Curtis! You are as white as I am, but waaay whinier.
But, if you truly want to be treated as a First Nations person I'm sure many would be happy to ship you off to a remote reserve with no clean water and very little resources. Let us know!
@EurodaleHomes My hunch is that the towns are irrelevant. No one building towns will use them.
I think for a typical suburban lot, they likely work pretty well. For an old toronto small lot nothing works without variances. I donโt see this as a notable problem, it fits the bigger slice of pie
@SteveSaretsky I understand the bylaw piece.
What I don't understand is why would these people design things that are not feasible in the province they practice?
@SteveSaretsky So what you are saying is that they just randomly slapped provinces to specific designs and these cannot be built at scale in majority of municipalities of said provinces at all? That someone did not check zoning requirements?
Something doesn't add up.

@SteveSaretsky Do you think that out of 50 or so designs 1 or 2 of those would fit 80% of zoning bylaws across Canada?
As for today's environment, I keep hearing that pulling oneself by the bootstraps is the way to go for everyone so not sure why that wouldn't be the case for developers.
@SteveSaretsky Cool deflection without answering the question.
I also wish Steve engaged in normal convo that challenges his view, but it appears to be close to the pigs' flying timeline.
@Starman_2_1_1_2@MarketManiaCa You are still here??? Are you alone on Thanksgiving?
Now you're making me feel bad for running circles around you. And I can tell this REALLY REALLY means a lot to you. You win! You know all the stuff that's just for super smart ones! Can't wait till you join the workforce.
@Starman_2_1_1_2 Oooh burn! These bankers around me agree that I was always struggling with math, which is why I for those who know it to go make me money.
You kind of sound like all bark and no bite, but no surprises there. I thought you were gonna ruin my life and block me!
Until there are more renters than owners (the current split is around 2:1, in favor of home owners), there will be no political will to make housing affordable in Canada.
Housing costs are what will eventually bring this beautiful country to its knees and it's already happening
