@JamiePingaz In the Call of Duty zombies franchise, you can purchase weapons to survive from chalk drawings of said weapons. In the lore, these drawings were believed to be made by Samantha Maxis, a little girl corrupted by dark dimension and was the first main antagonist
New FPS where you can draw any weapon in chalk and pull it off the wall to use it
- How it handles depends on what you draw
- Draw a grip and the animations change
- Draw an axe to break down doors
- Draw a bigger mag and get slower reload
Game is Chalk Warfare

@TonyHaleRapt I feel that exact same way XD Astra lore makes my head spin and that’s the first time I’ve felt that way. I know it’s not complicated lore I just… did not tune in for it
It has come to my attention that the resource I provided for the CW Intel guide pinned to my profile no longer exists, so I’ll work on either finding a suitable replacement or writing up my own asap.
There’s never been a better time than now to experience the masterpiece that is Cold War Zombies’ story! Remember that I keep a handy guide on finding all the intel pinned to my profile at all times! Happy Intel hunting! ^_^

We fought side by side, back to back- even if it was for the last time (not actually lol). A sincerest thank you to my boys @DocterMilky and @realppbutt for joining me through all of BO67 and beyond. Our journey died like Requiem, but at least we had fun.
they are dead, they are gone, no one lasts forever. they are dead, they are gone, no one lasts forever. they are dead, they are gone, no one lasts forever. they are dead, they are gone, no one lasts forever. they are dead.
@vvalkkei Precisely. They have zero similarities or even remote likeness to Samantha at all. Not in character design, voice, or even personality. Another instance of tell instead of show. And even then they made sure to keep the connecting thread to her so so thin.
Not to mention this kind of dismissive attitude towards CW’s lore is such a bad look from the viewers perspective. What does it say about the quality of your product if you can’t respect your own work/your former colleagues work from only a few of years ago?
Another issue I have with changing Samantha’s title to “The Anomaly” is it reveals the BO67 writing team were not going to work with any pre established lore about her/her DA powers from CW. Just wave it off as an anomaly so it won’t contradict anything new.
Something that I wanted to point out last night before the cutscene even dropped. I don’t know how I feel about Samantha Maxis having the formal DA title of “The Anomaly” Like it is cool and I like it but she already had one in Aether. The Key To Everything.
I complained about this a year ago but Cod zombies is no stranger to reframing/retconning older lore to connect narrative threads (BO4). However BO67 is the first time retcons have felt dismissive of old lore instead of connective/additive.
@vvalkkei At least in MWZ the concept of what kind of LEGACY a character like Samantha Maxis would have left seemed creative and interesting (more creative than bringing back old characters like BO7 did) but like most of Ava’s potential, this was squandered in BO7
@vvalkkei Another issue I personally have with the “Ava was brought in to replace Sam” notion is that would require the MWZ-BO67 writing team to have an understanding of who Sam was as a character in the first place, and there are some examples that suggest they didnt
