His reply, "IF this poll is accurate, stay the hell away from black people."
He went on to expound, if a black family had a choice of moving to 2 towns, a town that's welcoming to all, or a town where 40% of people say "it's not okay to be black", stay the hell away from that town!
He said it's not okay to judge a person based on their background, as all people are infinitely unique.
He said no race can take credit for the accomplishments of their ancestory or claim superiority over another.
He is a friend and MENTOR to countless black Americans, showcases their success, and boosts their initiatives.

So this "racist" with a "poisoned legacy":
1. Prefaced his statement on the legitmacy of the initiating poll.
2. Put it in a reversed context to show the opinion itself had nothing to do with race.
3. Rejects outright what anyone would consider the 2 main ideas/tenants of racism.
4. Actively engages, helps, and supports the community the claim is against.

But you come out here and call him a racist, poisoned, and reject the countless theater of people who reject it. Because you think the wrong people like him in this decade compared to a generation ago.

You should reflect on why you're willing to piss on the legacy of a man not hours into his grave, who you yourself grew up admiring, because you're willing to believe lies.
