after careful consideration i have determined the top 5 best of star wars
these are the absolute pinnacle of star wars, the greatest heights it has achieved
let the insults and death threats begin
Trump’s threat that Iran’s “whole civilization will die tonight” unless they surrendered will go down in history as one of the most chilling expressions of intent to commit mass murder ever uttered in public by a world leader.
This is not normal, and we cannot simply act like it didn’t happen. What can we do? Shut it down. There can be no business as usual.
💥On May 1st – International Workers Day – people across the country will hold a day of no work, no school and no shopping and attend massive demonstrations. We need to build this action up into a true general strike!
Note these are mainly police officers. It is very difficult to recruit sworn officers, we use OT to make sure we have police coverage and police presence is something our riders want. OT is cheaper than adding more FTEs (and we can't even fill our current police officer vacancies with our compensation pkg).
We have outlined some of the cuts and efficiencies we have made on our website and several public board presentations: https://t.co/dvFDrH5EfJ

-Renegotiated with unions to reduce near-term retiree healthcare costs
