Visitors to the @UNM Duck Pond need to know that bread is bad for ducks because it lacks necessary nutrients and can cause health issues. Feeding bread also pollutes their habitat, causes algae and attracts pests. Better options: frozen peas, oats, birdseed, halved grapes. #duck
