@carolynmichelle I feel exactly the opposite of this viewpoint. If a project can amass the of funding and support from today’s monolith of capitalist giants, it must be devoid of any interesting, novel, artistic perspective. The exceptions are thrilling, but rare.

Yeah- again it’s not really structurally sound crochet design in the film and will probably need some interpretation to make it real. This is the closest I could find for real world reference.
@castpixel Some prototypes a while ago, but nothing ever finished 😅. Playing around with Unity back in 2014 was my introduction to 3D work before choosing to focus on surfacing and grooming much later. Having some rusty python and C# knowledge has been a big help at WDAS.
@castpixel Yeah! For Luisa’s bracelets I actually made a caña flecha texture generator that feeds in huge black and white pixel art patterns and exports the base textures that were used in the final look. The same tool was later reused for the caña flecha elsewhere, like for Bruno’s sandals
@castpixel Haha I don’t actually know how to crochet- Luisa’s crochet work is all cheated through a method similar to her and mirabel’s embroidery. Maybe someday soon we’ll be able to more accurately handle complicated knit structures for our garments 👀
@Dekren Thank you for delivering such an incredible model for me 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
She’s the first character I got to contribute to at the studio and will always hold that special place in my heart
@Dekren Yo I got to work on her in Look right around when you left the studio. I asked everyone I could if I could work on her cuz I loved your first pass sculpt and the initial visdev. I still barely believe they trusted me to handle the coolest character in the WDAS history ❤️❤️❤️
@hamroach @eric_rahill @altoid_girl Thank you for sharing 🎁 this into my feed. 🤯💯🤧🙌 brought a tear to my eye 🥲😂 lit 💡my heart’s fire 🔥 🥰 the future is bright 😎😎🔮🧿💎
