Here is basically how to understand Judaism as it relates to the world around it.

You have the Torah (OT) the primary religious text.

Then you have Rabbinic Judaism which interprets the Torah through the Talmud.

When you control what children are taught and more importantly, what they are not taught you control the civilization. The people running this system understood that perfectly.
