Jayson Tatum doesn't make any sense right now. He's been back less than a month and now he has a triple-double (with 18 rebounds!) to beat Miami. And oh by the way, Jaylen Brown had 43! Here's my initial reaction, and a full podcast is coming up.
Jayson Tatum dropped 32 in his most "Jayson Tatum" game this season. He was explosive, he was comfortable, and he was awesome. Here's my immediate reaction to that, Payton Pritchard, and the contributions from everyone in this immediate reaction. Full podcast coming up later.
Without Jaylen, the Celtics ended up getting a monster 36 points from Pritchard to hold off a tough Hawks team. Tatum shot poorly but had 13 in the 4th & Walsh was great. Here's my initial reaction to all that, and Jordan Walsh's underrated performance. Full podcast coming up.
Jaylen Brown will miss the Atlanta game on Friday night because of left achilles tendinitis. Anything Achilles is obviously a concerning thing to read, but for now I remain optimistic.
The C's bounced back from a tough start and played great ball over the final 3 quarters, led by Brown & Tatum flirting with triple doubles. Scheierman was great off the bench & Celtics crashed the glass and get the win. Here's my initial reaction, full podcast coming up later.
Celtics didn't play their best basketball & the Grizzlies had a 7-point lead, but Derrick White and Luka Garza had huge 4th quarters, Jaylen Brown was great most of the night, and the Celtics come up with a big win. Here's my instant reaction, full podcast coming up later.
Astrology? Numerology? We're not so sure about all of that, but if Jaylen Brown thinks it works, and if it got him to a great place leading his teammates, then who cares? Here's our take on the latest Locked On Celtics podcast.

The Celtics got 22 from Neemias Queta in the first half and Jayson Tatum dropped 20/14/7 in 32 minutes, extending his minutes restriction. Here's my instant reaction from TD Garden with a full podcast coming up later
There was no Tatum, White, or Vucevic for Boston, but they got great performances from the bench and Jaylen Brown but up some monster numbers in a game that was right there for the Celtics. Still, I think there are more positives than negatives. Full podcast coming up.
Jayson Tatum looked tired and rusty early on, but he shook it off, got going at the end of the first half, and ended up looking very much like himself for portions of his return to action. Here's my reaction from TD Garden after the blowout win. Bonus podcast coming up later
Boston was missing Brown & Queta & they were on their 5th game in 7 nights, but Hugo Gonzalez brought the energy & had a career night to help blow out the Bucks. Hugo had 18 points & 16 rebounds, & Payton Pritchard got going. Here's my initial reaction. full podcast coming up.
Neemias Queta was a BEAST for the Celtics, finishing with 27 and 17, a career night to put the Sixers away. Here's my initial reaction from TD Garden, and a full podcast is coming up
