Unlike most, I think there’s still a big alt szn pending.
This cycle is obviously somewhat different because of the rotations, memes and way things are moving… but I don’t actually see it playing out any different in the grand scheme of things. It’s just happening slower and a little weirder.
ETH is probably a good indication of this. It’s only done +360% since FTX.
Market looks somewhat toppy (top call #700). But if we actually do hold around here and drop we can still see a good -50% or more on BTC temporarily.
We haven’t really seen the cycles ever end (when cycles look like the current) without ETH sending it meteorically, alongside other alts yet to mirror what big movers have already done.
In 2021 when BTC dumped from $65K to $29K it brought everything with it, temporarily.
Notable things took place after the dump:
1. BTC went in for another sweep of the highs
2. This initiated an alt szn and cycle finale
3. ETH went on to make new highs
4. XRP did not, it pumped before and topped (like now?)
5. Mid-lower caps sent it with ETH
6. Cycle officially ends
SOL has been a big player this cycle, along with memes. The same money is still freely floating around from previous cycles, if not in much larger quantities. Likelihood is the rotations are just playing out differently this time as there’s been new/bigger contenders and interests for retail and institutions.
If we get a shake up, significant profit taking is confirmed. Just like in 2021, that shake up was quickly bought back up and the remaining coins crippled for beginning-mid of the cycle then got sent to the heavens.
I highly doubt this time will be any different.
If you look at most alts, they have still moved a good couple hundred percent from all-time lows, so they’re clearly in the game, the larger allocation of capital just hasn’t hit them yet.
Trump stepping into the crypto scene with memes is questionable, but it also makes me think he (probably) wouldn’t want his coin to rug the entire space?
With so much liquidity diverted to TRUMP, there’s also a lot of new profits being diverted as it sells off to potentially rotate into everything it’s crippling.
Quite simply, if we do top around here and see a massive crash without everything, especially ETH having much larger drives higher, theres a significantly higher probability the cycle is not over and we’re going much much higher after.
(Also wouldn’t this make sense if there’s now a ‘digital assets stockpile’ being considered over the promised “Strategic Bitcoin Reserve”?)
Hope this all makes sense.
Looking to buy vine at the lows and enter long.
Ideal entry around 10c but will start looking at 15c
Tp back to resistance 50c but looking to see if it can squeeze to a $1.
