Cute people who constantly make eye contact with me in public, then look away, are my bane. It's like- that's MY job. Stop pulling the uno reverse card every turn, its not fair
@JD_generate And honestly, if they can't treat you well enough, or currently arent able to produce enough emotional intelli to communicate -? That reflects on them and where they are right now, 100%. Not you. Keep your chin up! :D You can have ALL THE NICE THINGS!
@JD_generate Don't overthink it just yet! Obviously you can temper your expectations, but sometimes things come up, life happens, etc. No matter what, you are still you, and you are fucking dope. Dont' fret or let this push you to insecurity <3
Feel like no one is talking about how cutting $800 billion from Medicaid and $200 from SNAP benefits is probably going to lead to an increase in crime because people don’t have access to the food and care they have been depending on for years.
“I’m about to engage in an extreme act of protest. But compared to what people have been experiencing in Palestine at the hands of their colonizers, it’s not extreme at all.
This is what our ruling class has decided will be normal.”

Fascists call us monsters and try to mercilessly destroy us, and then get to double-dip by calling us crazy for seeing something relatable or sympathetic in stories about monsters who are being mercilessly destroyed by fascists.
@JD_generate Yeah! I've always found it helpful to know that my brain is trying to help me, even when it's over-responding or giving me anxiety. Helps me to step back, wrap my arm around brain, pat it on the head, and be like "okay braaaiiin, thank youuu. I know it's spooky.. but im okay-"😂
@JD_generate Self protection techniques in the brain remain long after the trauma. Your brain is trying to protect you from something that is no longer a danger, which can be more inhibiting than helpful now. Not really advice, but it may help when youre working through it! <3
