We're continuing to honor the 2025 #OMAAward winners on the OMA blog, with today's spotlight on Logan Rex from @armstrongspace, winner of Emerging Professional of the Year. https://t.co/1ql0SZ5RBX
Thank you to the Ohio Museums Association for naming me the Emerging Professional of the Year!
I’ve had such amazing support from my friends, colleagues, family, and my wife. Thank you all. Now, get out there and visit museums!
Congratulations to the #ArtemisII crew for traveling farther from Earth than any humans in history, surpassing the record set by Apollo 13 in 1970.
“We choose this moment to challenge this generation and the next, to make sure that this record is not long lived.”
Previously unreleased photos of the heroic return have been donated to Armstrong Air & Space Museum in Wapakoneta, Ohio—Armstrong’s hometown—as part of the 60th anniversary of the Gemini 8 disaster. https://t.co/IWRqsFmRaF
Newly released, never-before-seen images of Armstrong & Scott have just been given to the museum. Learn more about the photos, their story, and the photographer who took them.

The museum is pleased to release newly discovered photographs of Neil Armstrong and David Scott taken at Naha Air Base in Okinawa just hours after their emergency return from Gemini VIII in March 1966.
The images had remained unseen for nearly 60 years. Until today!
To celebrate the 60th anniversary of Gemini VIII, the museum sat down with mission recovery pilot Les Schneider to get his perspective on the emergency recovery of the crew.

Mark Armstrong (son of Neil) graciously gave me a personal tour of the Armstrong Air & Space Museum in Ohio. Many amazing artifacts, and he was so kind to gift me an *original* Apollo 11 patch. I appropriately wore my gold commemorative Apollo 11 Omega. https://t.co/UMeznQfMkG
Judith Resnik’s legacy reaches far beyond the Challenger disaster. Take a deeper dive into her life, her impact, and the lasting inspiration she left for all.

Made it.
At 6:42pm ET on Jan. 17, the stacked Artemis II rocket and spacecraft reached Launch Pad 39B after a nearly 12-hour journey from the Vehicle Assembly Building at @NASAKennedy in Florida.
The museum was at the @OhioStatehouse today to help kick off 2026 with @AM250Ohio!
We have an exciting, full year of special events planned, so don’t miss your chance to celebrate America with us all year long. 🇺🇸✨
