Why worry about...
What shall we eat?
What shall we drink?
What shall we wear?
"Seek Yee first the kingdom of God and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you" - Mathew 6:33
my weeks and weekends are consumed by two things right now. the work that pays my bills. and the work that feeds my soul.
i lead the African Founders Community. and i made the decision to plan and host a global hackathon, PANGEA '26, with a very intentional and select group of partners.
i won't sugarcoat it. planning an event without the right internal support is one of the hardest things one can do. and yes, harder than those late nights grinding through criminal law and administrative law. ngrough lapo yoh.
it is mentally and emotionally draining in ways i didn't fully anticipate. and what makes it harder is knowing your heart is completely in the right place.
but the thing i keep coming back to is, as Africans, we have to do better by each other. (READ THAT LINE AGAIN)
As Africans we have to do better by each other.
especially when the intention behind what someone is building is for the greater good of Africa and it's people.
that's the season i'm in.
building anyway!
Once you become born again, what you need next is nourishment. God’s Word provides the right nourishment for every stage of spiritual growth. When you are still a spiritual baby, you need milk. That is why Peter said in 1 Peter 2:2, “As newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby.”
So after becoming born again, you should have a healthy appetite for the Word of God. Many of us can testify to this. When we first got saved, one of the main things we desired was to read the Bible. We were like healthy newborn babies craving the very thing that could truly nourish us spiritually.
But as we continue to grow spiritually, we begin to need stronger nourishment too, just like a child eventually moves from milk to bread and solid food.
PANGEA ’26 is officially in motion.
A global online hackathon bringing together builders, founders, engineers, mentor's, and creatives from across the world to solve meaningful problems through technology.
72 hours.
250 selected teams.
195+ countries open.
AI, fintech (Web3 & Blockchain), climate, infrastructure, and PANGEA x 👀
African problems are not niche problems. They are global problems, solved first by people closest to them.
The vision for PANGEA '26 is:
Building the kind of platform and ecosystem many of us wish existed when we first started building. One that gives ambitious founders visibility, opportunity, mentorship, community, and a real shot at building globally relevant companies.
So, if you know organisations, operators, investors, ecosystem players, brands, media houses and individuals who care deeply about the future of technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship, and would be interested in supporting, collaborating, sponsoring, mentoring, or contributing to PANGEA ’26, please comment below and tag them 👇🏽
Would genuinely appreciate the support in bringing the right people into this.
The goal is bigger than a hackathon.
The goal is to help shape the next generation of global founders.
ok I am SO excited I could literally cry 😭🔥
